Our engineers have worked on a variety of New York City Transit and commuter light rail/railroad facility projects, in all aspects of structural design, including, but not limited to feasibility studies and the preparation of conceptual drawings, preliminary and final contract drawings and technical specifications, and construction support services up until project completion. We also perform interdisciplinary coordination and review congruently with the structural design. Our professional experience includes station rehabilitation with circulation improvements, overall station reconstruction, facility buildings, power substations, as well as, feasibility studies at existing stations to achieve ADA compliance. We have also performed due diligence, prepared contractual documents and expedite approvals from NYCT for outside developers for the demolition, excavation, and provisions of station access of adjacent properties. |

We have designed many types of temporary work/protection platforms and scaffolding systems, specifically on numerous major New York City river crossings. We are professionally experienced in the design of cable supported platforms, rigid hanging platform systems and pipe scaffolding and are diligent in the analysis of local and global effects of the platform and/or scaffold system on the existing structure. All platforms are designed in strict accordance with OSHA and other federal, state and local regulations, pertaining to the project. |

Our structural engineers have completed numerous façade inspections throughout the tri-state area. We are skilled in performing inspections on and preparing detailed condition assessment (Local Law 11) reports that list all repairs required and prioritized those that must be repaired during each five year cycle. At the owner's request, a detailed set of plans, technical specifications and a construction cost estimate for façade and exterior appurtenance restoration can be prepared. We also provide construction administration to monitor the project from the bidding process, through construction support and supervision, up until final sign off. |
